The schedule and automated SMS reminders
Open Schedule in the sidebar (it's also a tab in the mobile bottom bar) to see everything booked. Flip between Day, Week, and Job views — Day shows one day at a time with a Today snap button, Job groups upcoming events by job. A Person view is coming soon. The calendar itself is read-only: events are created from the job.
- Open the job and go to its Schedule tab.
- Give the event a title, pick the day — Today, Tomorrow, In 2 days, or a date — and set the start and end times.
- Leave Location blank and it defaults to the job address.
- Tick at least one assignee under Contractors or Staff, then save.
Booking the same sequence every job? Schedule templates hold reusable task sequences with durations and predecessors. On the job's Schedule tab, tap Apply template to lay the whole sequence onto an anchor date, with an optional assignee applied to every task.
The three automated messages
- Day-before trade reminder — at 6pm the day before, every contractor assigned to tomorrow's events gets an SMS with the site address, start time, and job. It sends once per event, to contractors with a phone number on file.
- Morning client notice — at 7am on the day, the job's customer gets a heads-up that trades are arriving and from what time. Skipped if the customer has no phone on file.
- On my way — one tap on a Today's Schedule row on the dashboard texts the customer that you're en route, optionally with a Track me map link showing where you're coming from.
